Chinese Influence Operations

Chinese Influence Operations: While many in the West may be able to recall Sun Tzu’s adage, “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting,” the specifics of how this is internalized by the China Communist Party (CCP) and executed on a global scale are sometimes more nebulous. This presentation will first define what influence operations means to those within China’s government, then dissect the ends (goals), ways (the “how?”), and means (the “with what?”) of Chinese influence to illustrate how this affects the United States and our partners and allies.
