Mayor Jeffrey Huff

January 2018

Mayor Jeffrey Huff has lived in Colorado since 1983 and, for the past fifteen years, has been proud to call Castle Pines home.

He was elected Mayor of Castle Pines in 2009 and reelected to a second term in 2013.  Mayor Huff is a past director of the Castle Pines Master Association, and past president of both the Hidden Pointe HOA and Hidden Pointe Metro District.

The City has also enjoyed several milestones during his time in office:

  • City acquired land and broke ground for the new Castle Pines Library in April, 2015.
  • Castle Pines ranked 17th CNN Money Magazine’s 2013 Best Places to Live – Top Earning Towns list.
  • Castle Pines ranked #3 for Best Suburban Place to Live in Colorado in a 2012 Coldwell Banker Real Estate survey.
  • Castle Pines Arts and Cultural Foundation, established 2012
  • Award-winning Elk Ridge Park dedicated September 2011

Mayor Huff led a successful effort to pass a city-wide ballot question in 2012 that allowed Castle Pines to keep money from state grants and intergovernmental transfers for our parks and streets with no increase in taxes.

Mayor Huff holds law degree from the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. He is President of Redpoint Capital Management in Greenwood Village. Mayor Huff enjoys the activities that Colorado offers, including mountaineering, skiing and camping. He enjoys spending time with his three daughters who attend Rock Canyon High School and Colorado State University.
